The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative including angels, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party understands precisely where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—used the foes for his personal gain, invading the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the region and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter swore a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them few options but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Seekers and Planners tables.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
